FUN FUN FUN! The whole idea here is to get students excited about coming back into the library.
what I'm thinking: 1. displays and library decor 2. libraryish events - book clubs, that sort 3. makerspace - all things tech. coding, programing, circuitry etc 4. makerspace - non tech - crafting, making, legos etc. do we want to break into those groups or keep everyone together? how often? ideally once a month at least for each category - but not in the same week... When? lunch? afterschool? etc....

What does this mean exactly? Collection Development.
Basically this is the process that I, as the media specialist, use to decide what materials we have in our library. Each month I'd like you to submit titles that you believe we should have in our library collections. What to consider:
Do we need to meet regularly? do you want to meet regularly? Or do you want to just meet virtually to submit titles? What do you think our student body wants to read? I would love for us to collect data on their reading interests... perhaps a survey online and in person through lunches would be helpful... thoughts? tell us a little about you who are and why you're here!Welcome to our first meeting.
